Gåsfeten is the outermost island in the archipelago of Ronneby, with a very exposed position. The vegetation is typical for this type of islands and many seabirds rest and spend the nights on Gåsfeten.
The lighthouse on the north side of the island was the first lighthouse ever with an AGA-light. Today the light is run by wind power.
