The village and harbour of Kuggeboda was earlier a reloading place for cargo already in the Hanseatic days. One medieval ship type was called kogg as in the name of Kuggeboda. The goods were transported on to the town of Ronneby. Nowadays you find a harbour, a boat yard, farmers and fishermen in the village.
Do not forget to look at the small cottages, so low that the windows rise above the roofs.
